Three local businesses were recognised with special awards at a festive event in Neston on Wednesday 2nd December.
‘Out of Office – a Christmas Celebration of Business in Neston’ was organised and sponsored by Neston Town Council and Neston & District Chamber of Trade, to bring local business people together to raise a glass to their efforts during the year.
It was the first such event to be organised and was well attended, with guests commenting on how much they enjoyed the evening.
Three businesses had been selected by the organisers to receive an award and the choices proved popular with attendees.
Recipients were handed specially engraved awards from The Craftsman in Bridge Street. The awards were announced by Chair of Neston & District Chamber of Trade Carrie Spacey, and presented by the Mayor of Neston, Cllr Mike Shipman. They were also handed bottles of Champagne by Town Centre Manager Katy Pierce. The recipients were:
Long Standing Business Award – John Evans Ltd – accepting the award, Barry Evans
Young Business Success Story of the Year : Zone Fitness – accepting the award, Gareth (Gaz) Jones.
Putting Neston on the Map Award: Andrew’s Estates – accepting the award, Andrew Smith.
After the awards, attendees enjoyed a festive buffet from Tracey’s Food Hall and the opportunity to network.
